The Luisha Copper-Cobalt Mine is located in Luisha town, Haut-Katanga Province, DRC. The mining area covers 5.04 square kilometers, with a total ore reserve of 31.62 million tonnes. The copper metal reserve is 760,000 tonnes with an average grade of 2.47%, and the cobalt metal reserve is 56,000 tonnes with an average grade of 0.18%. It is a large open-pit copper-cobalt mine located in the Zambia–DRC Copperbelt. The annual processing capacity is 1.5 million tonnes, with an annual production of more than 30,000 tonnes of cathode copper and over 1,000 tonnes of cobalt hydroxide.
