Recently, China Railway Construction Engineering Group¡¯s subsidiary, China Railway Prefabricated Construction, held a launch ceremony in Wusu City, Xinjiang, for the first shipment of prefabricated housing materials to Kazakhstan. A total of 1,000 sets of prefabricated housing materials will be exported to Almaty, Kazakhstan, with a total contract value of 114 million yuan.
This prefabricated housing project is part of Kazakhstan¡¯s government-funded affordable housing program. China Railway Prefabricated Construction began following up in May this year and successfully signed an export cooperation agreement in early August. The prefabricated houses adopt a self-developed modular rapid-assembly system, with a construction period of about 25 days and a usable area of 88.63 square meters. Each unit includes two bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen, and one bathroom, along with an external heating boiler room. The system offers advantages such as eco-friendliness, fast assembly, and immediate habitability.
